About GDS Datacenter Solutions

From craftsmanship to critical infrastructure

GDS Datacenter Solutions, formerly Gerull Kritische Systeme, was founded by Klaus Gerull, an engineer with a deep passion for electrical engineering and a commitment to maintaining critical systems at the highest level. What began as a specialized trades company has evolved into one of the most sought-after partners for data center infrastructure in Germany. From the very beginning, one conviction was central: critical infrastructure tolerates no half measures.

Today, the company is led by Marcel Gerull as Managing Director and Head of Electrical Engineering. Based in Ergolding near Landshut, the team serves data centers and critical systems throughout Germany. The combination of the founding generation’s experience and the new leadership’s drive for innovation makes GDS Datacenter Solutions unique: we understand the tradition of solid craftsmanship while thinking in the categories of modern, highly complex infrastructure.

Our expertise spans all disciplines of the data center world: from busbar systems and UPS units to Building Management Systems, thermography and DGUV inspections. We don’t just install, we analyze, optimize and test. Every project receives the same care, whether it’s a complete data hall fitout or targeted troubleshooting.

For us, quality and reliability are not marketing buzzwords but the foundation of every single decision. Our clients trust that we meet deadlines, exceed standards and deliver solutions that work long-term. Because in the world of critical systems, there is no second chance.
