Data hall fit-out across Germany

For operators, developers and general contractors: 150+ fit-outs, 4 to 8 weeks per hyperscale data hall.

What does a data hall fit-out cover?

A fit-out turns the empty shell of a data hall into IT space ready for operation: raised floor, racks, cooling, cabling, power, fire protection, security, BMS and initial testing. We deliver it turnkey, from design to handover.

Answers from 150+ fit-outs

How long does a fit-out take?

For a hyperscale data hall, 4 to 8 weeks. The schedule for your hall follows the scope fixed before the project starts.

What drives the cost?

The scope per trade, the number of racks and rows, the power distribution and its redundancy, the containment, the cabling, the depth of the BMS connection and any work next to live halls. You get a quote for the scope agreed before the start.

What is white space, what is gray space?

White space is the IT area: racks, rack PDUs, containment, cabling and sensors. Gray space holds the plant that supplies it: power distribution, busbars, UPS and standby power, generators and transformer stations. GDS Datacenter Solutions works in both.

Can you work while the data center is live?

Yes. Work in live operation is planned with agreed method statements, a risk analysis, approvals, defined fallback routes and complete documentation. Scope, plant responsibility and switching authority are fixed for each project before the start.

Where do you work?

Across Germany, from our base in Ergolding, Bavaria. Frankfurt am Main and the Rhine-Main area are a central area for on-site work in data centers.
